Kyle Heap

I am an MA Candidate in Political Science in the Coursework stream. I hold a BA (Hons) Political Science (Co-op) from the University of Guelph.

I have professional experience working in both federal and provincial government, including roles at the Canada Revenue Agency and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Agribusiness, where I contributed to a range of program and policy areas.

My research interests lie in political communication, with a particular focus on news consumption and avoidance, as well as the broader dynamics of political, civic, and democratic engagement.
